family day 2013

for family day this year we went to two events. 

one was indoors and one was out!

it's all about balance, right?

the first was the mayors movies for MS.

we headed out early that morning 

to see "ice age" on the big screen.

though i didn't bring my camera to the event, 

i had to pull it out when i got home...

amazing face painting, eh?

after a quick lunch at home we made our way to uptown waterloo 

for their annual ice dog festival,

where many people were admiring emery's face paint.

there was a long line for the most exciting part of the event, 

this made selah sleepy...

 but the best part of the ice festival for selah is riding on a dog sled 

(do you remember this post from last year?  one of my favs...)

i loved that there were so many options for family fun in KW this year.
