best friends in southampton

we went to southampton with our friends this summer, 

and like last year it was just us girls!

in 2 days...

 we went for ice cream, 

hiked around fairy lake, 

fed the turtles and fish,

enjoyed the hot tub,

had a campfire with s'mores,

performed songs and dances,

watched the olympics,

pretended to be in the olympics,

made our way down to the beach three times!

i do hope this new tradition will continue for years to come!
so fun for the girls, and their mom's...

the beach (in october)

we spent an hour or so at the beach yesterday.

yes, it's october and people were swimming,

and yes, we're in ontario...

it was amazing!

 jude and i were able to head back to the beach after dinner for the sunset...

since emmy was 2, and beanie was 6 months,

they've had best friends...

i think that's pretty special.

more camping fun

abigail and emery spent a lot of time together - so nice.

jesse loves his books and stories...

i was a little surprise at how much time nathaniel & selah spent together - so cute.

 so, if you have seen all the camping photos, 

you see that there was a lot of stories and beach time!

the kiddos also had a great time at the playground close to our site,

learning a few new games on the iphones,

biking around to explore,

putting on shows for the moms and dads,

colouring and making crafts,

listening to judah's stories,

carving sticks,

swinging on the hammocks,

playing t-ball will an empty bottle on the cooler,

playing soccer on the beach,

& making s'mores.

great memories - i'm ready for s'more camping fun!
