buddies

 these two may seem like an unlikely pair

(he is in emery's class and has a brother in selah's).

but when they are together,
it can be hard for other kids to get in on their fun!

his mom is a photographer as well,
so this is often his approach to my camera:

 it's so nice to have caught him in moments of pure joy!

my girls love to swim and i love to lifeguard through the lens.

now that summer is long gone, it is rare for the girls to have a chance to go swimming.

recently we got to stay in a hotel and the girls had a great time in the pool.

i forgot to pack my bathing suit (no, i didn't do it on purpose), 

so we borrowed some water wings and i was able to lifeguard through my viewfinder!
